Any kitchen with a fabulously big prep table right in the centre of the action is a dream kitchen to us. Imagine owning a piece as lovely as this, just waiting to be used, laden with copper pans and cooking utensils. There would always be a place to bring your shopping, pile up your freshly picked vegetables for preparation, line up your jars for an afternoon of jam making or just a place to sit and do nothing. Maybe it’s a bit funny to think a piece of furniture could have any kind of effect on you and the way you feel, let alone become the centre of your everyday life, but this one really does and we would choose it again and again and again. #deVOLKitchens
