GIVEAWAY I will admit to trying to avoid the news as much as I can, to shield myself from what is going on out there. I’m trying not to focus on the numbers and figures, trying not go predict how long this might last and instead I’m just to waiting to be told that it’s over.
I’m fortunate that I can make this choice and stay in my bubble. But others are on the very front line of this crisis, helping others and risking their lives to try and save our friends and family. Every account I read from a doctor or a nurse breaks my heart – and I do read them – because they are written with such compassion and dedication and because they help me to understand why it is so incredibly important for us to stay at home.
We have been so touched by the stories that we knew that we had to join in with an initiative started by a lovely person (whom we’ve never met) called Sarah @thehayloftdevon and pledge to giveaway a two-night-stay for two here with us at Château de la Ruche to a fantastic NHS worker to help them get some much needed rest and relaxation after all of this craziness is over.
