I had planned to share this view weeks ago. But then, well, you know what happened. And is still happening… But I am hoping that maybe we have turned a corner. Maybe we are heading out of the darkness now. .

So, with that hope, here, finally, is a little spring refresh of my fireplace area. If you have looked closely at earlier posts, you might have caught glimpses of it — the blue and white rug from @annieselke and the white slipcovers on the little swivel chairs. All of this was inspired by the fabulous artwork hanging above the mantel. Do you know my friend Sara, @sarafitzstudio? Sara is an incredibly talented artist who lives here in Maine. Lastly, thank you so much for all your messages of concern and support yesterday for my sweet Cisco. It meant so much to me. I am happy to report that he is doing much better today. He is at the vet now for a follow-up, and I am hoping he will get a clean bill of health. .
