Sometimes I can be practical when it comes to decorating. ☺️ This big window faces our front walkway, and even though we have curtains, they’re more decorative than functional (they don’t quite close all the way). We wanted something we could close at night. I had someone come out to give us a quote on doing some sort of bamboo shade or nice blinds, but I metaphorically spit out my drink when I saw the prices. (Budget Blinds my behind!—even their cheapest stuff was going to be over $600 for this one window.) So anyway, this is NOT an ad or anything, but we were pleasantly surprised by the options through @blindsdotcom . This window is huge—94” across—and we were able to get a basic, pretty, unobtrusive cellular shade for under $200. Installation was easy too!
